Failed to install eclipse

I tried to install the CSS 5.5.0 (Windows), but the error "Failed to install eclipsed" stopped the setup. I downloaded the off-line installer and it didn't work then I downloaded it again, but the same error occurred.

Hi,

Is your OS windows 8? If yes then please try running the setup in compatibility mode to Windows 7. Also, check this link: http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/f/81/t/290318.aspx

Yes, my OS is Windows 8. I tried both things you suggested, but it didn't work.

From the log, I suspect the problem is being caused by interference from your anti-virus scanner. Are you using McAfee, and can you make sure it is temporarily disabled during the install?

The McAfee firewall was disabled on the previous attempts of installation. In the last one I disabled the Real-Time Scanning and worked. Thanks for your answers.
