Code Composer Studio Install Error being Reported

I received an "Invalid Install" banner while attempting to Install CCS 5.5.   My original install of CCS did not allow the tutorial videos to run (see attached window capture).   It was requesting that I post the zip file of the data dump folder generated by the Invalid Install.  

  • I tried to post the *.zip file before the video capture, but I guess only one item is accepted at a time.   Here is the zip file from the Invalid Install event.

  • Hi Ken,

    It looks like you did an install over an existing CCS installation, and the update of one of the components failed. You should be able to locate the install logs in c:/ti/ccsv5/install_logs. Can you zip up the folder and upload here, please?

    If you're trying to reinstall the product, you should delete everything under c:\ti\ccsv5 and start afresh, you seem to have run many updates prior to this over-install.
