CCS5.5.0.00077_win32 not getting installed on windows7 64 bit

I had downloaded CCS5.5.0.00077_win32 from ti web site but it is always failing to while installation.

Please find attach log file from 5344.ccs_setup_5.5.0.00077_install.log

Please let me know how to proceed on this .

Hi Rakesh,

It looks like you did several installs over top of each other, so the logs are a little skewed. But from what I can see, it looks like you have a vm share of some kind which is causing one of the components to fail. If so, I'd recommend disconnecting the share to do the install. Please delete everything in your install folder first. You can reconnect to the share after the install is done.

I had deleted all the files and going with re-install again.

I had uninstall VM ware also to be on safer side.

I will share the logs in in some time.

Rakesh,

the log attached says it was an overinstall i.e. you had an installation in c:\ti\ccsv5. Did you delete all the files there? Maybe the log you sent is an old one? Please send the latest log by doing a sort by date modified.

Hi Danish,

Thanks . I re- reviewed each path and cleaned it.

I had un-install VM ware as that can only shared something and now i was successful.

Every time i install CCS i learn new tricks about it.

This time it was VM ware.
