Error updating CCS

Hi,

We are facing issues with updating CCS v5 to the latest version (as offered by "Check for Updates"). As recommended by the tool, I am uploading the InstallJammer directory contents. The problem is with the 5.5.0.00087 update.

Kindly help!

Hi Gautam,

I have no antivirus, and the OS firewall is disabled too! It never happened with any previous update!

Can I ask where you are getting this update installer from? It looks like it is being run from your downloads folder.

Your best bet is probably to install a new version of CCSv5.5 in a different folder and not attempt an update. There are new versions of pretty much everything, so you will not save any download time.

This is on a fresh install. Downloaded 5.5.0.00077 from the TI download page (web installer), and then checked for updates to install the latest updates on top of it!

The surprising bit is that I am able to use CCS for compile and debug of my C2000 based board! But, I am not sure if and when it will bail on me because of those errors!
