CCS 5.5 License error after updating

I have 3 user Floating license. CCS is installed in my system which is also the license server. It was showing as licensed and was working well until now. Today I updated CGT and xdctools . After that License info is shown as unlicensed. I tried to point to the server location and port , but it gives the following error

I cannot start the web gui 127.0.0.1:8080 also(as given in http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/License_Server_Administration_for_CCS#Configuring_Code_Composer_Studio

)

I am unable to use the direct license file also.

How can ensure that the server is running?(I have tried disabling the firewall and RT scan)

This issue is solved. The license server was down. I started it thru' Flexnet Web interface. I was using port 8080 for web interface . But the correct port was 8090.
