When Adding New Build Configuration I Receive a Java Error - CCS v5.5.0.00077 for C2000

Under Manage Configurations I am not able to add a new configuration properly.  It will add to the list, but if I try to switch to the newly created configuration (in order to edit it) I end up getting a Java null pointer exception as soon as I try to navigate within the new configuration.  I have tried this with a C2000 example project that did not have a "Release Configuration" and I have tried it from a bare bones new C2000 project (which by default creates a Debug & Release build configuration) by trying to add a 3rd test configuration.

    Hi Marc,

    I see some similar issues. It seems to occur when I used the "Copy settings from default configuration" option like you are. If I use the first one, it seems to be able to create the configuration (though I see some other strange messages sometimes). I also see the same issue for CCSv6

    I filed a bug for this. CQ: SDSCM00049674.
