CCSv4 MCU edition and Stellaris support

Hello everyone,

My company is planning to start new projects and  we are about to use Stellaris LM3S9B9x and Low-power (MSP430) TI MCUs.

1) What we are wondering is if and when there will be vesrion of CCS MCU edition which will support both MSP430 and Stellaris MCUs?

2) At the momment for LM3S9B92 MCU there are four types of Development Tools (Keil, IAR, CodeSourcery, Code Red). Are you planning to offer kit version for CCS Tools?

3) Also I'd like to know what will be the price for "MCU Day" attenders as we are such?

Best Regards

Stanimir Serbezov

  • Hi Stanimir,

as far as I know Stellaris support will be available with CCS V4.1 which is scheduled for end of this year.

  • I too would like to develop code for the Stellaris and MSP430 devices.

This morning, I discovered this webpage which describes the support CCSV4 provide to us:

    http://tiexpressdsp.com/index.php/Stellaris_support_in_CCS

Also, here is a link to the MCU Day pricing structure:

  • Hi,

I am looking at them as well.

Keep in mind however that the silicon (according to TI response on Stellaris forum) is

    about 3 months away.

That seems to be a common problem to most TI parts at the moment and I hope it will be fixed.
