Hi,
I had a working CCS5 instalaltion on Win7/32 bit. I had trouble going through the labs in InstaSPIN with LaunchPad and BOOSTXL as the motor would start the recognition but then the webapp reported some write issue with FTDI stuff [screencap 1]. So I figured maybe a new drivers or installation would not be a bad idea. Boy was I wrong.
I tried to use the CCS5 update feature. It downloaded heaps of stuff and seemed to install everything ok and finally asked to restart CCS5. The restart failed, "There were errors during installation. Please zip the contents…." , [screen cap 2] which instructs me to post some Install Jammer file on this forum. However there is no such file anywhere.
So I figured I try to do a fresh installation on a fresh virtual machine, this time Win7/64b.
I downloaded the installer but running that fails with message in [screen cap 3]
I've included the screen caps at the end to keep this readable.
Now I'm at loss what to do next…
