Problems importing existing project from controlsuite

Arno, I guess the project might've got corrupted. Just try installing controlSuite again. This should solve your issue.

I installed the ControlSuite again. Since I we have some firewall issues in our company I used the zip-Download instead of the web installer but the software should be the same. However, I ve got still the same problem. For me it occurs that some files are missing in the directory. For example there is no macros.ini and also no .settings folder. Could it be that the zip-file installation is missing some files?

Arno, create a new workspace and try importing the project from CCS -> Project -> Import Existing Eclipse Project

I went already to all the importing steps a few times but the error always comes up. Do you have the controlsuite installed? Maybe you can try to import this project and then we can see if its a general problem or I did anything wrong. The project I use is called ILPFC_v1.0 and its under C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\ILPFC_v1.0.

would you be able to confirm the controlsuite version you are using?   I have a version that does not have this exact folder, however I was able to import without issue a lighting pcf project.

I would like to see if this is reproduceable here.

Hi Lisa,

the controlsuite version I use is v3.2.4. In the controlsuite the project is under English->Development Tools->Digital Power->High Voltage Interleaved PFC Kit.

There is also another PFC Kit(Digital Power->High Voltage Interleaved Power Factor Correction Kit.) which I could import without any problems but I need that one I mentioned above because I got the Evaluation Board and I need to do some testing.

I send you a screenshot from the steps I took just to make sure that we talk about the same project. The first one shows you the file tree and the project files related to the project I use.

The second one shows the importing step and the upcoming error. I hope this helps you and thanks a lot I really appreciate your help!

I installed yesterday, the latest controlSuite.  I then found the ILPFC project and got no errors or issues.  See my screen shot .. my installation still seems different.  Have you tried removing and reinstalling controlsuite?

yes I reinstalled it alread two times. Did you use the webinstaller or the zip-installer? Did you compare the files in your folder to mine? I think there must be a difference?

Hi Arno,

I used the lite installer.   There is a difference but I don't know why and controlSuite comes from the C2000 team.   Let me see if I can find anything out, otherwise I may have to move this post.

What CCS version are you using?  I use v5.5 - which is what I would recommend.

I use v4.1 but I m about to install v5.5 and try it again.
