Hello, 

Does anybody know if it is possible to use TinCan's Flyswatter 2 JTAG debugger with CCS?  I would like to use the CCS debugging interface, and the Windows platform.  Do I have to use a proprietary debugger or the Flyswatter 2 that I currently have?

    Hi,

    CCS does not support TinCanTools, and from their website it seems they only support OpenOCD. 

    A few articles around the web (on omappedia.org, elinux.org) corroborate the above.

    Therefore, answering your question: yes, you must use either a XDS-class or a Segger emulator with CCS.
