SEED XDS560V2 driver for CCS ver5.2.0

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C6472

Hello everyone,

we are using SEED XDS560V2 for debugging one of our development boards, where we have TMS320C6472 processor.

we have been using this emulator woth CCS v4.3 so far. Now we have migrated to CCS v5.2.0. In this new version of CCS we are not getting the SEED-XDS560 emulator option in the configuration list, even though the driver is installed on the machine. in CCS v4.3 it is listed. Why is this happening? how to fix this problem

Thanks in advance.

Ravi Kumar

  • Hi,

CCS does not install drivers for your emulator (only Blackhawk and Spectrum Digital). Did you contact SEED for updated drivers?

Note that even though you already installed the drivers for CCSv4, you would need install drivers for CCSv5 also. I'm not sure if there is a separate package for CCSv5 (check SEED for this) or if you can use the same package you used for CCSv4, but you need to install support for SEED emulators in you v5 install.
