Warning Level

Hi,

I'm currently using CCE v3 and was wondering how you change the warning level when building a project?

I've got a project where I want to find all the variables in the RAM that I'm currently not using, I though if I turned up the warning level this would help?

In CCE, you can turn on all diagnostics by going to:

Project Properties->C/C++ Build->Compiler->Parser Diagnostic Options: Enable check boxes for --issue_remarks. You can further customize these options to get the diagnostic number (by enabling --display_error_number) and then setting certain diagnostics to warnings or errors.

Is there any specific I could do that would identify varibales that aren't being used?

As far as I know, the TI compiler/linker only shows unused local variables. If you also want to see unused global variables, you should use a code checker like PC-Lint - there are also others, of course.
