CCS 5.3 Code Coverage Results - strange number

Hi,

I was using CCS5.3 to analyze cache conflict and saw a strange number 9223372036854775808 which is 0xCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC. This number appears in many places in the Function Coverage view.

Does anybody have any idea what went wrong?

    Which device/simulator are you working with? You mentioned CCS 5.3, is there any chance of updating to 5.5 and see if the results are similar?

    I'm using DA830 cycle simulator. I also tried C64x+ megamodule simulator. Are there any fixes or improvements in CCS5.5 that address this kind of issues?

    I didn't specifically see any bugs that could be related to this listed in the release notes. Is there a simple project/test case you could send us that reproduces the behavior? Please also include all necessary steps. If we can reproduce the behavior in the latest CCS we can try to have someone look at it further.
