CCS V5 (latest version) install failing.

Hi, Ive been having some problems installing the latest version on CCS.

I was using the offline installer (as ive treid in the online one already)

keep getting the same issue.

Please see the attached logs.

Any help would be much apprietiated.

    Hi Jamillah,

    Eclipse is unable to handle the , in the temporary directory path. Could you please try resetting the TEMP and TMP environment variables, clean out the install directory and try the install again?

    Hi,

    Could you zip up the contents of c:\program files\installjammer registry\ccsv5 (program files (x86) if using a 64 bit machine) and post them here? Note, installjammer registry is a hidden folder. 

    I'll take a look and get you sorted out. Sorry for the trouble.

    Hi Jamillah,

    I'm not sure I understand what's going on, on your machine. Did you set the TEMP variable to c:\temp or c\temp - no :? Could you double check this? If the TEMP is incorrectly set (without the :), please set it, delete the files in c:\ti\ccsv5 and try again.  You can clean out the contents of the installjammer registry folder, so we have fewer logs to go through next time.

    If that's not the problem, I think your safest bet is to create a temporary user with a simple user name like guest, and install ccs for all users.

    My apologies, I had used the wrong slash.

    I tried the install again and it got a lot further before it crashed (approx half way)

    attached is the new logs.

    Jamillah,

    I'm very sorry, but we're experiencing issues with the web site so the web installer's hitting timeouts when trying to install. Your best bet would be to download the offline installer if you can't wait for the web issues to be resolved. I don't have an estimate as to when this will be fixed.
