I was installing CCS5.4 to accommodate Tiva as CCS5.1 did not have Tiva extension, after I bought a TivaC Launchboard from TI, but it came up with message "CSS could not find a valid license, a 90 day license will be generated only once" though in the document it says a full license would be generated if connected to a Launchboard.
I do not know what to do. Please advise me

When CCSv5.4 launches for the first time it search for a license and if it doesn`t find one it will generate a 90 day license.
If you want to setup a license for the Tiva launchpad you can follow the steps below. Note that CCSv6 is available, 5.4 is pretty old. If you download and install CCSv6 it will automatically setup a free license that works with the Tivaq LaunchPad.
here are the steps for CCSv5.4
Go to the Help menu and select `Code Composer Studio Licensing Information
Select the upgrade tab at the top
Click the `Launch License Setup Dialog button
In the dialog select the free license option in the middle as shown below. Note that CCS will continue to use the 90 day license (which works with the Tiva launchpad) until it expires and will then switch to this one.
