CCS 3.3.82 Flash Plug-in not saving clock settings

Hi,

Is there a way to get CCS to save the clock setup settings for the on-chip flash programmer? I have the check box checked to save the clock settings but every time I start CCS I need to re-enter the settings. Why doesn't this work?

I'm using FlashAPIInterface2808V3_02.out with CCS 3.3.82.13.

Unfortunately the settings are only saved in the same CCS session, not across different sessions. Here is another post on this topic, http://community.ti.com/forums/t/1563.aspx

It sounds like I'm not the only one who would appreciate this "feature" being changed. What's the point of having the save the clock settings check box if you're not going to save the settings?

I agree with the other post. I need to shut down/restart CC multiple times during the day due to its frequent crashing. This would be a nice improvement to have for the next release.

The settings can be preserved in CCS v4. The Flash programming interface is different in v4 and there is an option to preserve any changed Flash settings.
