Does the simulator support configuration of FSYNC model?

Hi,

Whenever I run the simulator, the following messages come out,

Default constructor for frame_sync_intf_t called

Constructor for FSync model called

Initializing FSync model

time0: 0 : reset

aif_parms_init2 - finished reading the scenario files

Initializing FSync model

System.FARADAY.SHARED_SYSTEM.USER5 : AI Reset interface - start

time0: 0 : reset

aif_parms_init2 - finished reading the scenario files

Illegal value for addr_10_13 = 0

It seems that FSYNC model can be configured by the simulator, doesn't it? How could I configure the FSYNC model in simulation environment?

Hi,

I have read the Pin/Port connect materials, I wonder, if I could connect a data file to the FSYNC pin, in order to simulate the generation of a frame timing, and if yes, should I need to configure other related registers?

Hi,

I have read some materials from the TiExpress about PIN/PORT connect, I wonder whether I could connect a data file to the FSYNC pin, in order to simulate the generation of the frame synchronization signal. If yes, how could I do that? Should I need to further configure the registers through writing correct values to the corresponding memory addrresses?

Hi,

We expose interrupt and serial port related pins (McBSP, McAsp) only for pin connect. FSYNC pins are not supported as of now. PLease refer to the recording on the feature at http://software-dl.ti.com/sdo/sdo_apps_public_sw/CCSv4/Demo/Simulator/pin_connect/pin_connect.htm to know more details.

Forgot to mention about port connect. Right now, we support the feature on serial port data pins (McBsp/McASP) only. The corresponding recording about the feature is present at http://software-dl.ti.com/sdo/sdo_apps_public_sw/CCSv4/Demo/Simulator/port_connect/port_connect.htm

Great thanks for Sheshadri's direction.

I am simulating a c64x+ cpu in the ccsv4; in the "pin connect" view, I notice that there are pins like, "NMI, INT1,..., FSR0, FSX0, CLR0, CLX0, FSR1, FSX1, CLR1, CLX0". In mya applicaton, the c64x+ cpu is interacting with the AIF through RP3 interface. I wonder, whether the c64x+ simulator could support the simulation of frame synchronization timing via the pin-connect feature, for example, if I connect the FSR0, FSX0 respectively to a data file, "[100,1] ([+25, 0] [25,1]) rpt EOS", does the cpu64x+ simulator could detect this frame synchronization signal so as to recover a frame timing counter?

Yes, Sheshadri is right, I have to forget this pin/port connect, try to use other way to skip over this problem.
