Ugrade policy of CCS v4 ?

I wish to know upgrade policy of CCS v4.

I found out below comment in CCS v4's wiki page.

You will automatically receive an upgrade to CCSv4 in the following cases: 

  • Code Composer Studio v3.3 Platinum license with subscription valid to June 1 2009 or later
  • MSP430 Code Composer Essentials v3 Profressional license purchased after June 1 2008
  • C2000 Code Composer Studio v3.3 C2000 license purchased after June 1 2008

    If you haven't received an activation code but did purchase CCS/CCE within the timeframe noted on the mediawik it could be for a few reasons.  First I don't think all the upgrade activation codes for C2000 have been sent out yet, so if you are a C2000 users it may still be in the queue.

    The other reasons are related to registration.  For CCS users if you did not register CCS or your subscription then we don't have a record of your status in our database.  For CCE users if you bought CCE through a distributor then we likely have a similar issue in that we don't know about the purchase.  In both of these cases you can contact the list that Ki mentioned (ccs_license_file_help@list.ti.com)  and they can get it fixed up for you.  To make it easier please list when and where you bought CCS/CCE and if you are a CCS user provide your service code.
