How to edit includes paths in ccs6?

Hallo,

I have just installed ccs6 on ubuntu 12.04. When I open a project ccs6 reports some symbols as unknown symbols (for example uint32_t, NULL, false, and somethings similar), but when compile no error is reported. When I use ccs5.5 it works well also in editing.

So I want to edit includes paths but it seems to be read only:

I click on edit or add button, and a dialog is opened. I can edit in that dialog, but strings in "paths and symbols" never changes

where am I wrong? How can I avoid the (false) errors?

Hi,

Check the C/C++ Build --> Settings --> Cross GCC Compiler (or whatever compiler you are using) --> Includes

My project is a makefile project that works well. I use CCS6 only as (an advanced) editor.

The problem is that in eclipse errors are reported where there are no errors:

This example shows what I mean. uint32_t is defined in stdint.h, but eclipse cannot find it (or cannot find the definition of uint32_t). It is only an editor error (I can compile and run), but is it makes me confused when I edit a file. I cannot recognize at a glance the true from false errors.

If I open the project whit ccs5 no errors are reported, so the issue is related to the new version.
