using -olength option of the hex2000 conversion utility

Hello there,

I have been playing with the hex2000 conversion utility that comes with CCS5 using TMS320C28x Assembly Language Tools User's Guide as reference document and everything looks fine. however, I cannot get the hex2000 utility to take --olength option that allows to limit the number of items in one line of the .hex file into account. Any idea?

The --olength option has no effect. I filed SDSCM00050252 in the SDOWP system to have it removed from the documentation. Feel free to follow it with the SDOWP link below in my signature. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Is there anyway to customize the number of bytes per line in the hex file?

Unfortunately, no.

If you have confidence in your Perl coding skills, you could consider modifying the script bootimage.pl in the cg_xml package.
