I'm trying to install Code Composer Studio Platinum V4 on a 30-day unlimited license and can't seem to either get the correct executable or can't seem to find the proper licensing option.
Once the installation is complete and I run CCS V4, I get a pop-up window (after my project loads) that has two options: one to enter a license key and the second to get a free license for an emulator-locked version. I tried the free license route and all I received was an emulator-specific license that wouldn't work on the MSP-FET430UIF debug interface.
Has anyone else encountered this or can they help me in getting the 30-day evaluation license.
As far as I'm concerned this is yet another example of why software licensing just doesn't work in the real world.
