Hallo,
i have Uniflash v3 AND cc2538dk.I try to flash memory. When i load the blink application it does about 20sec.But when i load zstack examples like Sample light it does 3 min.Is that normal?
PS:The same happens with IAR workbench embedded flashloader.
Thanks
XDS100 versions are termed as relatively slow emulators. They do consume some time!
But, is it like previously you experienced them to be quick and now you feel them slower or its your fresh experience?

Gautam
Then Kanas, XDS100s are supposed to be slow programmers. To overcome this issue; users opt for XDS560 or XDS510 etc...

XDS100 is slower for sure but I think the bottleneck here is the flashing itself. 3 minutes does seem a bit extreme however. How big are the zstack examples (the actual code being flashed)?
Thanks
ki
The program that i try to load with uniflash is the SampleLight example from zstack home automation examples.
I dont know how many lines is the code but the .bin is about 511KB.
If the program is loaded to the flash(which takes about 2.5min) then the debug is fast enough with IAR embedded workbench.
Hi Kanas,
I do agree with Mr. Lee; 2.5min is way too much. Around or less than 1min should be enough.
Yes, 511kb is bit a huge file if compared to regular ones.
