CCS4 and Subscription?

I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask, but after scouring FAQs and other places, I can't seem to find an answer, so I'll ask these questions anyhow.

I have a yearly subscription (platinum edition).  Can I expect an upgrade disk for CCS4 with license (node-locked or 5 machine,single user) to be sent out to me so I can upgrade from CCS3.3, SR12?  Or am I expected to Download CCS4?  If I download it, how can I obtain the full license for CCSv4 instead of having to request a new license every 3 months?

I've looked at the TI store to see what the difference in price is for the Single-machine node-locked license, and the single user/5 machine license, but I see that the ordering for these licenses are not yet available.  Any idea when these licenses will be available via the TI  store?

    Current CCSv3.3 users with a yearly subscription will be contacted via e-mail that they are eligible for an upgrade to v4 and be provided an activation code to activate CCS with a full license. CCS can be download (available now) and there will also be v4 installation DVD but I am not sure if they will also be automatically sent out to everyone with a current v3.3 subscription or if available by request.

    The official announcement of CCSv4 is coming soon and after the announcement is when the e-mails will be sent and DVD ready. Also it is this time that I would assume ordering of these licenses will be available.

    Hello Mr. Lee,

     

    I too am curious about the licensing from CCS3.3 to CCS4. I believe that CCS4 has now been officially available for about a week; however, still no email with a CCS4 activation code. Is TI behind on sending those out? How would you suggest I proceed? I have downloaded the officially released install for CCS4, and I do have a valid CCS3.3 license.

    Brock,

    Yes we are behind on sending out the codes.  We ran into some last minute logistical issues.  The codes are supposed to start shipping out today.
