CCS 3.3 Intelli-crash?

I've been using CCS 3.3 on WinXP Pro for almost a year now with no problems. Just last evening, I noticed CCS would just close, no error, no warning, just close when I mouse over an undeclared variable. This just started happening in the last 24 hours. Has anyone seen this behaviour as well?

It sounds like a CodeSense issue... just wondering if a crash dump file was generated. Could you check and attach it here if they have been generated?

Also if you could provide the exact version number of your 3.3 install, that would be helpful too (see #3 of the above link)

Hi Ki,

The mini-dumps from todays events are 0 sized. I grabbed a log from an event last night that did result in an access violation error warning. (Be sure to rename to.dmp) I think I solved the problem by deleting the .SBL file, doing a clean build and rebuilding from scratch. Now it doesn't crash, but CodeSense doesn't seem to pick up any of the variables (however, there were errors in the compile, it's a port in progress)

Looks like you have the latest SR for 3.3, which is good.

Could you also try deleting the *.CS_ folder in your project folder? That contains cached information used by CodeSense. Sometimes it can get corrupted and cleaning it out can help.
