CCSv5_5 update to 90days Evaluation License

Hi,

I am using CCSv5_5 for a few days - code size limited version. I want to update it to 90 day evaluation version.

Help>Code Composer Studio Licensing Information>Upgrade>Launch License Setup>update

then I get below screen

We I click register button, it takes me to http://www.ti.com/activatesoftware which looks like below

I seems I need a 32 digit activation ID. How do I get that?

Please help.

Have you by any chance (maybe previously) used evaluation option on the current PC? Because this option can be used only once later it disappears. Here's the link the will help you download the license file from activation code.

HI Gautam,

No, this is a new PC and never used CCS before.

I just installed CCSv6 and I see 'EVALUATE' there (although I don't want to use that). Wondering if TI removed 'EVALUATE' option from CCSv5_5.

Can any TI employee help here?

Since you selected the code size limited option it is not showing you the 90 day one anymore. There is still a way to get it though. The link in this FAQ will enable you to generate a 90 day license and then you can just drop it into /ccsv5/ccs_base/DebugServer/license and it will pick it up.
