CCS crash when it startup

When I start the CCS(3.3 & 3.1) with DM6446/DM642 config, it work fine at last week, but in this day, I can not start it!

I got this error both 3.1/3.3(image is CCS 3.3 SR12)

Hw to solve?

My os is Windows 2000 SP4, CCS 3.3+SR12

I have a situation almost the same as m chen. Windows 2000 SP4, CCS v3.3, SR11. CCS was working fine and then one day last month started getting the error below. I've tried a few SRs, acts the same. Can't get CCS to work anymore. I thought maybe it had to do with a windows 'auto update' OS patch that I don't have much control over at work. Anyone else seen this?

Hi Ki,

I attached the dump file. I had to change the file extension from dmp to txt to be able to attach it here.

Mark,

The crash looks related to Codewright (the v3.3 editor). Are you crashing on CCS startup (splash screen or sometime around that)? Or does it come up and the crash when you play around with CCS a bit?

Hi Ki,

The crash happens pretty fast. The splash is displayed for about 5 seconds and then I get the crash. It never comes up to a point that I could play with anything.

I'm not sure how you would be getting a codewright crash before the IDE comes up. Could you try renaming the '<CCS INSTALL DIR>\cc\bin\cwsense.dll' file? If it is indeed related to codewright, this might help.

I had the same problem which seems to be fixed renaming cwsense.dll. Now I wonder about the side-effects.... In any case this fixed a huge problem since I was unable to work.
