Just installed CC v3.3 on a fresh, clean WinXP Pro machine (using the installer disk that came with my OMAP-L137 Starter Kit). CD is dated 10/27/08.

When I launch CCStudio, I get the CC Studip Platinum 3.3 splash screen for a few seconds, then a small, modal dialog pops up saying

Error Unable to load tpic6x.dll

The app then exits.

I tried installing on a second clean WinXP Pro machine with the same result.

Google searches and searches of the TI web failed to turn up a clue.

Would appreciate pointers / help.

Hi Bob,

Which CCS Service Releas e do you have installed (if any)? Could you also check your CCS directory to see if that file in question exists? It should be in <CCS INSTALL DIR>\cc\bin (ex. C:\CCStudio_v3.3\cc\bin)

I have the same problem...

I have no CCS Service Releas e installed. should I? and i can't find the tpic6x.dll file in the directory, so where can I get this file?

That file should come with the CCS default installation. If you don't have that file, then that may mean that your installation was not fully successful. I'd recommend a reinstall..
