Adding a watchpoint on a register value in CCS

Hi Champs,

Is it possible to add a watchpoint on a EVE (ARP32) register value in CCS ? We are using CCS to debug EVE (ARP32) core on a DRA7XX evm and would like to put a watchpoint on IER register.

Ashish,

Most of our devices only allow setting a watchpoint on an address and not a register ID. A memory mapped register would be fine but not a core register.

Thanks for the quick response. I believe the IER register on EVE is not memory mapped so I guess its not possible to put a watchpoint on it.
