After compiler tool update, can't run Code Composer

Hi,

We were running CCS version 5.4.0.00091 and I needed to get the compiler up to 5.1 for a industrial sdk example. The second update I ran was for a compiler tools and after restarting it came up with this message:

I can't run Code Composer at this point and I have never seen this type of error from Code Composer. I am running on Windows 7- 64 bit, but I'm not sure that is the issue.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Can anyone help out? I was hoping to get some work done today and this has really stopped everything. Can I just delete the C:\ti\ccsv5\eclipse\downloads\ccs_update_xxxxxx.exe file or will that cause more problems? Any log files that might help me out?

Hi John,

It looks like the update installer's corrupted. Can you please download this file, rename the extension to exe, put in the eclipse\downloads folder and restart ccs? To be on the safe side remove the existing ccs_update*exe.7633.ccs_update_5.5.0.00077.txt

Please save it as ccs_update_5.5.0.00077.exe
