Licensing problems

I am trying to activate my CCS 4. Prior to the V4 I had a V3.3 fully licensed through the TI university program. I am using a Spectrum Digital emulator XDS510USB. When I try to activate with license file I received I get this window:

Exception occurred during launch

Reason:

No such feature exists
Feature: CCS_CONNECTION_ALL

Licence path: C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\TMDSCCS-HWN01A-v4.0.lic;C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\ccsv4\DebugServer\license\*.lic;C:\ti\license;
FLEXnet Licensing error:-5,357

Any idea? SHould I be able to use the XDS510 with my license? If not, how can I obtain the correct license file?

Thank you!

  • The license you are using will work with simulators, XDS100 emulators and onboard emulation on EVMs/DSKs.  However it will not work with a standalone XDS510 or XDS560 class emulator.  We call this license the free bundle license.  To use your XDS510 you need a full CCS license.

    Do you still have a university program contact?  If so they should be able to get you setup with a full license.
