Hi,

I am following the CC3200 Getting Started Guide PDF and I am following the part that Install TI-RTOS for Simple Link and CC3200 at CCSV6. I install SimpleLink WiFi CC3200 and TI-RTOS for SimpleLink at App Center.

I was prompted to re-start CCSV6. After that I got this error below? What could be the cause and solution for this?

After pressing "OK", CCS prompted to report this error to TI. Then, CCS crashed and closes. What should I do? Should I repeat the steps again?

Hi Markel,

It looks like you tried installing one of the app center components that crashed during install and left the installer metadata in an incomplete state. I can help you replace the data, so you’ll be able to continue with updates and app center installations. Please send me the contents of all install_logs* folders in your install directory and I will send you a replacement ccs_config.xml file.

This has been fixed for future versions.

Hi All,

Danish has provided me a .xml file through my personal email and also additional instructions. Now, I am able to build CC3200 Launchpad example programs.
