I get Application Error when uninstalling CCS4 version 4.1.0.01000 (4.1 Beta). Such error is seen with many past versions. When is it expected to get fixed?
After clicking OK button of error message, the uninstaller seems to hang and not do anything. Both Next & Cancel buttons remain disabled. The only option is to kill that window and manually delete following folders:
C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\ccsv4
C:\Program Files\InstallJammer Registry\ccsv4
Below is the log of error:

Hi Urmil,
The various InstallJammer uninstall errors should have been addressed awhile back. I am surprised to see them in a 4.1 build. If you see them in a release build, please let us know.
Thanks
ki
Urmil,
I uninstalled CCS4.1.01000 from two different machines (Vista Home Basic and XP, both 32-bits) but did not find the exact issues you experienced. However I had a bit more trouble when I tried to uninstall it from Vista using a User account - even when I bypassed the User Access Control (UAC). Unfortunately I don't have the exact error messages here, but I recall having some problems that were solved when I logged on with an Admin account, so maybe this may be your case. Are you sure you have admin privileges or is running the uninstaller from a true Admin account?
Best regards,
Rafael
I tried to run uninstaller with my domain login. It is not an admin account but I have admin privileges on this machine.
The customer can ignore the error and kill the uninstaller in Task Manager if it does not go away. I'd then recommend manually deleting any leftover folders.
I thought all the uninstall errors were addressed by 4.1. Is this the RTM build (4.1.2003/6)?
