Hi Ivan,
If you are using CCS 3.1 or greater, you can download a standalone version of BIOS from this link:
http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_registered_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/bios/index.html
And the use the CCS Component Manager to have CCS use the new BIOS install
Thanks

Ivan,
Just adding to Ki's response, please make sure to download the correct version for your CCS.
If using CCS 3.1, download DSP/BIOS up to 5.20.05.
If using CCS3.2 and 3.3 you can download 5.21.02 through the latest 5.33.06.
Despite this, you can still build your project in CCS3.1 using a DSP/BIOS release 5.21.02 and newer, but the RTA tools will not work (which is precisely what you want). Also, make sure to check the section Validation Information on the release notes to make sure you are using a tested combination of compiler/assembler/linker with the selected DSP/BIOS release.
Hope this helps,
Rafael
