How to merge packages,devices and example projects with the CCSV6

Hai,

I successfully installed the CCS V6 but the TI Resource Explorer does not contain any packages (MSP430ware, SYS/BIOS etc...) and devices and example projects. It cant also connect to the internet..please let me know how to merge those packages,devices,xdctools and example projects etc..with CCSV6.

Hi Siva,

In CCS v6, you can download controlSuite, MSP430Ware etc. from App Center. For this you very well require working internet connection.

It cant also connect to the internet.

Do you've any proxy settings?

Hi Gautam Sir,

i have 3G working internet connection ,i have also another installed CCSV5.4, its well working, can update and install the new softwares. but the newly installed CCSV6 cant connect with internet so download using app center is not possible...

Siva, check these 2 windows under Window -> Preferences

Compare them with your CCS v5 settings. Let us know what you observe.

Both windows are exactly same with both CCSv5 and CCSv6......

Then this the only option left:

Uninstall CCS v6. Download the latest build of v6 from TI website. Install it in a new folder eg. c:/tinew with complete features instead of custom.
