Project less Device Debugging in CCS 5.5

Hi,

    I am new to CCS 5.5. Previously we were using CCS 3.1. I want to know how to do device debugging without creating a porject.

In CCS5.5 launching the Debug Session automatically connects the Target and Load the Code. I do not want to work this way. Like CCS3.1, I want to chose to connect the Target and Load the Code without creating a project. Is it possible to do this way in CCS 5.5. Please Provide me information or any useful link regarding this.

One More question! Is it possible to re-use the GEL files in CCS 5.5 designed by using CCS3.1.
