Hi,

My query is regarding TMDFCCS-MCULTD software offered by ti,(code limited CCS v4 for mcu's), I have a DSP board of TMS320f2812 dspchip, couple of weeks back i downloaded the platinum CCS v4 trial software to test it. Recently i discovered the TMDFCCS-MCULTD and I believe that this software would suffice my requirements. I submitted the request for download through my TI account (on wednesday) but I didnt receive the download link. I wanted to ask that do i qualify for this ( TMDFCCS-MCULTD) software download after having platinum version downloaded and installed? I have already uninstalled the platinum version yesterday.

    Giresh,

    The download email should come through right away.  If not then something is wrong.  Check your junk mail folder.  You can try ccs_license_file_help@list.ti.com and they can help you get a link.

    However, if you are using F28x I would consider sticking with the image you downloaded already and getting an XDS100 emulator.  These emulators are only $79 and you can use a free CCS license with no limit with them.

    Thanks for your reply, you were right the emails were forwarded to my spam. I didnt notice spam because when i applied for platinum version the email directly came to my Inbox. i explored the option of XDS100 but it supports 1.8-3.3v JTAG and my board has 5 V. so it wont work.

    Is it possible to program the device using RS232 serial port by this software?

    Sorry CCS does not support programming via RS232.
