Code Composer v5.5 include paths (and black magic?)

I'm stumped again. I have compile errors due to include files not being found :: see here

BUT my include paths below are correct (so far as I cant tell).

So why are these lists not aligned? And why is DSP280x_common/DSP280x_common (an invalid path that is not realisable) appearing in the search path, when it is not something I added to the Include options below?

And how can I fix this?

I must add I started by importing a CCS v3.3 project, that failed to import, and so I had to correct a few things.

OK now I can see that different C files seem to have different search paths!!

So the include searching isn't project wide?

OK looks like if I delete the files code that code composer added when I imported the CCS3.3 project, and re-add them manually the problem is fixed.

I would still like to know more though about why CCS v5.5 has special include paths for some source files and ignores the project include paths??

One possibility is that some source files had file-specific options that overrode the project level options:
