Switching language cause 10 second hung (CCSv4 b5)

When I change language from English to Russian and vice versa my computer hung for 10 second then language switch and all works ok. When I have 512 Mb RAM on my PC switching cause CCS crash, now I have 1 Gb.

Have any one else problem like this? How we can resolve it?

Unfortunately you have hit a bug in CCSv4 (and CCEv3.1). The same happens to me when I switch keyboard languages using <Alt>-<Shift> or the menu language toolbar (I switch between Portuguese and English). Unfortunately I couldn't find a workaround or a solution to this, therefore I filed a bug report number SDSCM00032700.

Thank you for reporting this and, despite no solution is available right now, usually these fixes happen in a reasonable amount of time in the form of service packs to CCS.

I don't know how CCS/Eclipse will like having the language switched while running. It tries to detect your OS's language on startup and load the language packs if they are present. If you are switching during an active session maybe it is detecting this and trying to swap all the strings in the appropriate language pack with those that are in memory (that would definitely cause a delay).
