Hi.

I am using Code Composer CCE_3.2.3.6.4.

I am not able to build the project, getting the following error messages:

<Errors> (Error message on the "Problem Window")

1)Placement fails for objects ".text".

2)Linking failed. check the console window for details.

(When i checked,there is a linking problem. This Error Message is on the "Console Window")

<Linking>
"../lnk_msp430fe427.cmd", line 517: error:placement fails for object ".text".

3)errors encountered during linking; "demo.out" not built.

All settings are default.

Abdul,

In TI compilers the .text section is the code section. Basically it is saying that it can't fit your application into memory. You can tweak the compiler options to optimize for code size. Also if you are using printf or other CIO functions anywhere to help you debug you may want to remove that as it takes up a fair amount of space.
