VC5505 USB Stick

My customer has received and installed a VC5505 ezDSP USB stick (thank you), but there appear to be real difficulties with the licensing. He reports:-

The Quick Start guide says that I’ll be asked to activate a license, but that hasn’t happened, and I can’t find a way to do it. My IT expert thinks there’s something a bit odd about the software’s use of browser to read local help files through the readback port, which upsets out local server. We’ve got round that by using Firefox for the help function, with no proxy, and used the default browser with its standard proxy on the Web Browser function, so I can now use Help (but not follow any internet links within it) and also do code updates. The original and remaining problem is that if I look for the licensing options I get an error, with the software looking at one of our license servers, but not because I’ve told it. Could this be a hang-over from some earlier CC installation(s), and how do I correct it?
