During CCS v6 installation I am unable to get past the "Select Emulators" prompt
Nothing happens after clicking "next". I have removed older versions of CCS and disabled anti-virus.
Any suggestions?

Hi Davis,
This is a strange one, so please bear with me.
Which version are you running? Did you cancel out and try again? If you're trying 6.0.0.00190 please download 6.0.1.00040 and try that. If it's 6.0.1.00040 please try running it on a command line like this:
ccs_setup_6.0.1.00040.exe --override-apps-url ""
Please keep me posted.
Thanks
Danish
Hi, Danish, thank you for the response.
I am downloading the new version. I'll share results here later today.
Also, I don't think I am properly disabling my antivirus. I will get one of our network admins to assist with that and let everyone know if this combination of things solves the issue.
Thanks for your help.
Davis
Davis,
The anti-virus and the real-time file scanning can sometimes cause a problem, it's only a warning, because some AVs can keep files locked while the installer's trying to install. You may be able to install without having to turn it off.
You may however be running into some proxy issues, if you're unable to get to the last pane. If you do run into that, please let me know, and I'll help you get around the proxy issue.
Danish
I downloaded 6.0.1.0040_win32.zip, but this time I can't get passed the installation directory selection.
This could be a proxy issue since all traffic on our network is routed through a proxy server. Anything I should know about that?
Davis
EDIT: I ran from command line using --override-apps-url "" and the installation started. While the installer was running, I stepped away from my machine. I returned to find my machine had been restarted and it appears I have an incomplete installation of CCS v6 now. No uninstallers are available. I assume I should delete the ccs directory and try again? Please advise.
Davis,
The CCS installation should not reboot your machine. Is it possible that you had an update/patch pushed down to your machine that did this during the installation?
Please zip up all the install_logs* folders in c:\ti\ccsv6 and attach them here for analysis. It would help me understand what's happening on your machine.
Then remove the contents of the installation directory, i.e. c:\ti\ccsv6 and install again with the --override-apps-url command.
thanks
Danish
