Adding New RTSC Product to CCSv6

CCS 6.0
Attempting to add xdctools_3_30_01_25 (i.e. the legacy version of xdctools_3_30_01_25_core that ships with CCSv6). I installed the xdctools_3_30_01_25 into C:\TI (default location). It is not being detected though. Even going to Window -> Preferences -> Code Composer Studio -> RTSC -> Products and attempted the "Search Now" button. It just doesn't see it though. I see that C:/TI is listed in the product discovery path at the top.

Hi Brad,

This is probably because an equivalent version of this XDCtools is already installed in CCS 6.0. You'd have to first uninstall the version that is shipped with CCS. Go to Preferences > CCS > RTSC > Products, select the XDCtools version, and click Uninstall. Then both this and the legacy versions would be discovered when CCS restarts.

Thanks. That did the trick. You might consider adding a warning to address this scenario.
