I'm trying to enable SWO Trace functionality so I can have access to the Statistical Function Profiling in the HW Trace Analyzer.
Things that I have read seem to indicate that my emulator (XDS200) and processor (TM4C129, an M4 chip) have this capability, and I'm using CCS 5.5, which also seems to.
When I bring up the menu, it tells me to put in the COM port that I want to use. I selected COM8, which is listed as the "XDS2XX USB Emulator CDC serial port", because no documentation I could find told me whether to use that or COM9, which is listed as "User CDC serial port".
After I hit "start", it indicates that it cannot perform this function because SWO trace capability is not enabled in the CCXML file. I can't find a place or way in the CCXML file to enable this. Any pointers on where this would be located?
