CCSv6 detached windows

With CSv6 it is easy to detach windows from the default layout to drag and drop them over to a 2nd monitor, which is quite helpful during debugging.

My question is: How can I bring such detached windows back into the default view of CCS?

Hi Frank,

For me what seemed to work was minimizing the undocked window and draging it over CCS until some green highlighting appeared. I was then able to 'redock' the view.

Hi Lisa,

sorry, it is not working for me. If I have a window undocked, I cannot longer "minimize" it. The only available options of the undocked window are "Move", "Maximize", "resize" and "close" - "minimize" is greyed out. If I drag that window "as it is" over CCS, no green higlighting appears.

CCS is 6.0.1.00040

Hi Frank,

Try clicking and dragging the tab inside the undocked window back into the main window.
