CCS4.x support for C6727

C6727 is supported with CCSv4. We encourage BIOS 5.x users to use BIOS 5.4 (which ships with v4). It should be binary compatible with 5.2.

I appreciate your answers.  We use DSP/BIOS from ROM and I will be overlaying the 5.20.05.x into the CCS4.  Also CG5.3.0 and the remainder CSL and ROM patch.

One issue to overcome in CCS4px is the choice of xx:\Program Files\Texas Instruments as default for istattlation.  Any reason?

That path is simply the default location. You can change that to a custom location if you wish.

I believe you are asking because you the projects that come in the packages you pointed are for CCS3. You can convert project from CCS 3 to CCS 4. Please see:

Thank you but I beleive you missed the Q.  These are not project specific, they are device specific, and are not designed to go through the import/convert tools of CCS4px.
