Trouble Writing Memory Block At 0x402F0400

Dear all

I follow this page, try to do SPL debug, and then my CCS shows the following error message

Can anyone tell me how to solve this issue? Thanks :-)

My environment are:

Chip: XAM3359AZCZ

JTAG: XDS100 V2

SDK: t-isdk-am335x-evm-06.00.00.00-Linux-x86

App: Virtualbox 3.1.8  & Ubuntu 10.04 & CCS 5.3.0

  • Hello,

I assume you are trying to do JTAG debug with a device running embedded Linux. I just want to confirm that you are NOT using a startup GEL file. Is that correct?

    Thanks

    ki

  • Hi, Ki-Soo

I'm not using the startup GEL file, is there any tutorial? In the u-boot linux debug page, i can't find any information about GEL file.

It is mentioned in slide 15 of: software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/training/modules/target_configurations/CCSv5-TargetConfigurations.pptx

I see you are using an older CCS version. Could you try updating your CCS version? CCSv5.5 is the latest version on the v5 stream.

    Thanks
