After updating the CCS6, app center stopped working. I tried to re-install, but no luck.

Also, which operating system are you using?
There was a report of a similar problem with Ubuntu 14.04 - see http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/f/81/t/364041.aspx
thanks for promptness. There is no activity after clicking the app center button on the getting started page.
yes, I did a full reinstall of ccs.
I didn't do anything on my PC.
What I did is I updated the ccs components MSP430 Emulator and MSP430 Compiler tools suggested by ccs itself.
That didn't work.
Not much info to give. Windows 7. CCS 6. Installed on even another machine. Didn't work right out of the box. Connected directly to the internet.
Also, you should be aware that the update never completes, and says it's updating CCS5, even though it was started from CCS6.
When you do a "Search for updates" which updates do you see?
Could you also check the exact version of CCS - go to Help -> about.
Check the contents of <installdir>\ccsv6\eclipse\utils and list, you may be missing the update installer from there.
I'm using Wiin7 X64, CCS Version: 6.0.1.00040. My Window->Preferences->Network Connections has all the providers set to Manual, if this is what you meant.
I have noticed one detail, originally I have installed the CCS with the support for TivaC, CC3200 and MSP430, and the AppCenter was OK, it has disappeared only after installation of all the updates. So I have uninstalled it again, deleted all the files in the TI folder and then installed only the Tiva C support... and it is working fine now, so I guess the problem was probably caused by the MSP340 updates.
