CCS6: How to add support for an additional processor?

Hi,

I've been usiing CCS6/Linux for an MSP430 target but now I also have a TMS320DM6437 target for which I need to add some existing projects. How do I do this? I thought it would be as simple as adding the C6000 tools and importing the projects but doing those fails - CCS doesn't seem aware of the new compiler and I still can't import the '6437 projects.

you can simply run the installer again and select 'repair'. See this video:

Hi Lisa,

Thanks very much - that gets me much further down the road. The next trick question is "What exactly is the TMS320DM6437?" Is it a "Media Processor", a "Single Core DSP", or a "Multi Core Processor"? None of those list a 643x in their "Processor Architectures included"...
