Hi all. I am trying to program an msp430F149 and get the above error when trying to debug and load the program to the hardware. any help would be greatly appredciated.

Hi Dave,

Was the same project working previously or this is for the first time? Which CCS version are you using?

this is a different project on different hardware. i use CCS v5.5.

i have tried in CCS 4 and it debugs. I will try with the actual hardware tomorrow as i don't have it with me.

Hi David,

did you import the project to v5? (Is correct, if I read it is fine in v4 that it's a v4 project)? If so

-did you use project-import ccs/eclipse project?

-do you have the project selected /highlighted when you press debug?

- do you have a target configuration file in the project?

- does ccsv5 ask you to do a FET update?
