The latest CCS4 beta will not install on Windows Server 2008, as the installer explicitly prevents it. Previous versions of Code Composer Essentials and CCS install and run fine on Windows Server 2008. IAR installs and runs fine as well. Win2k8 is a great workstation environment, so it would be helpful if the CSS4 installer didn't explicitly deny installation on the OS (even if TI doesn't want to support it). Can you remove this restriction in the next version of the installer?

Kelly we can make that change. I.e. have it warn you that you are running on an unsupported OS but let you continue anyway. The change would not be in place for the upcoming beta5, it would be after that.
